Plot: In an effort to prove his decades-old hypothesis that individuals with disabilities-those he describes as "sensory enlightened"-hold the key to unlocking a sixth sense, aging neuroscientist Dr. Frederik Amberger seeks out a promising graduate student, Jules Christopher.
